| 摘 要： | 本文从系统功能语言学三大纯理功能中人际功能的角度出发,结合英语被动语态的特点和用法,研究了英语被动语态可能体现的人际意义：通过使用by短语使动作者在句末出现,强调动作者,使其得到关注;不使用by短语,突出小句目标;使动作者被有意忽略,从而使动作者摆脱责任,使话语更客观;对小句目标表示礼貌和尊重等。

| Abstract: | This paper attempts to study the possible interpersonal meanings of English passive voice from Systemic Functional perspective,to be exact,the interpersonal functional level.It is based on the characteristics and usage of passive voice,and points out that the use of by phrase aims to highlight the actor;the remove of by phrase can give prominence to the goal of discourse;the ignorance of actor helps to make the discourse more objective;and to show politeness and respect for the goal of discourse. |
