Curriculum Evaluation Using a Seminar Interaction Analysis Schedule

A modification to the Flanders’ Interaction Analysis Categories to code student‐to‐student discussion allows meaningful analysis of seminar transactions. Examples are given of the use of the coding system in two seminar groups in teacher education. It is suggested that the system has a value in contributing to the evaluation of teaching.
