| 摘 要： | 加强创新型英语人才的培养是21世纪新《大纲》的突出特点之一,由此,培养学生的创新能力成为新世纪高校英语教学改革所面临的重要挑战。梳理了英语专业人才培养目标的历史沿革,讨论了新世纪创新型英语人才的内涵,并就英语教学中如何有效开发学生的创新潜能,培养其创新能力提出了几点认识。

| Abstract: | Enhancing the cultivation of creative English talents is one of the distinguishing features of the New English Teaching Syllabus for English majors.Therefore,cultivating the students' creativity is a crucial challenge confronting English teaching reforms at the tertiary level in the new century.This paper examines the different goals of English talents' cultivation from a historical perspective,discusses the essence of creative English talents and puts forward some suggestions as to how to integrate English teaching with developing the students' creative potential and cultivating their creativity. |
