| 摘 要： | 危机四伏的明末社会与耶稣会士在华传教存在根本冲突，根源于耶稣会士所代表的西方宗主国和天主教利益与明帝国利益的根本对立，而不是根源于东西文化冲突，文化冲突仅仅是东西根本利益对立的表达方式。

| Abstract: | The root of the fundamental conflict between the crisis-ridden late Ming societyand Jesuit mission in China lies in the fundamental antagonism between the westcountries and Catholicism the Catholic missionaries represent and the interestof the Ming dynasty, rather than the cultural conflict between eastern and western cultures, which is just an expression of the fundamental conflict between East and West. |
