| 摘 要： | 太平天国时期的湖南是比较贫穷落后的地区,但因社会风气的不同——湖南之士皆有“用世”之志,在曾国藩、骆秉章倡率之下,在镇压农民起义的战争中,前仆后继,死亡数万人,官至督抚者22人,官至提督者35人,使湖南富贵,被人高视,影响深远。

| Abstract: | Hunan was a very poor and backward area during the period of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.However,the scholars in Hunan all had the will to dedicate themselves to the service of their country because of the difference of social mode.Under the leadership of Zeng Guo-fan and Luo Bing-zhang,thousands of them died in the war of suppressing the peasant uprisings,with 22 general-governors and 35 commanders-in-chief,making the riches and honor of Hunan highly regarded and a profound influence. |
