Pictures, Colors, Materials, Styles--On the formative elements of books design

Though book design is subject to the theme of the book, it is not a limited written explanation in words or simple outer wrapping. The thesis presents the view that designers should delve into profound meanings of the books, search the main theme,arrange rhythmic movement;adopt rationalized consciousness to catch all kinds of elements of the whole book. In book design designers should use proper book forms, rigorous words, correct pictures, spaces of chronological sensation, reasonable color mixture and individualized materials. All these construct new ideas and new forms of modern book design.
