| 摘 要： | 十九世纪末期，美国名作家斯蒂芬·克莱恩在他的作品中体现出了强烈的自然主义色彩，塑造了许多自然主义情调浓郁的人物形象；他的作品语言简洁生动、朴实无华。代表作《红色英勇勋章》就是一部自然主义的不朽之作，为美国二十世纪自然主义的创作指明了发展方向。

| Abstract: | Stephen Crane is a great master adopting naturalism in his writings, and all his literary heroes are depicted with strong naturalistic features. The words and expressions in his work are just simple but vivid, and his masterpiece THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE is written in a naturalistic style which indicates the trend of naturalistic writings in the 20th century in America. |
