On the Conception That Guo Xiang Sublated Xiang Xiu

At present,majority of scholars think that Zhuang Zi Annotation by Guo Xiang sublated another homonymic one by Xiang Xiu.In order to prove whether it is true,they enumerate many grounds which include five aspects such as the suspiciousness of historical materials which imply Guo Xiang is a plagiarizer;the differences between two versions of Xiang and Guo,the differences between two kinds of annotations of Xiang and Guo,the comparisons between other works of Xiang and Guo and Zhuang Zi Annotation by Guo Xiang as well as forefathers'attitudes to two annotations of Xiang and Guo,but if we seriously examine these grounds,we will find that they are all unreliable.Whether Guo Xiang is a plagiarizer should be judged in ideas,so the argument on Xiang and Guo will last continually before Xiang Xiu's philosophical theory is concluded safely.
