刘勰的艺术想象观

刘勰《文心雕龙·神思》篇论述了文学创作过程中想象的许多问题,其中之一是指出了文学想象所达到的境界是“神与物游”。结合《神思》和《文心雕龙》中的相关篇目看,刘勰认为想象之物有其容,此观点不符合文学想象乃至下笔成文的实际情况。刘勰又认为想象的前提条件是作家必须扎实地“积学”、“酌理”、“研阅”、“驯致”,对此观点,今人应该正确理解其含义。

Liu Xie's Artistic Vision of Imagination

Liu Xie stated a lot of problems on imagination in the process of literary creation in Shensi Chapter of Wenxindiaolong,among which "thought going with objects" is what literary imagination can attain. Judging from relevant chapters in Shensi and Wenxindiaolong, Liu Xie held the idea that imagination has contents, which is incompatible with the real conditions in literary imagination and in writing.Liu Xie also held the idea that the prerequisite for imagination is that writers must accumulate knowledge,resort to reason, read critically and referentially, whose implications people today should correctly understand .
