| 摘 要： | 英语和汉语是两种不同的语言,但作为文章一部分的标点符号表意上都是相同的.人们无意或有意利用标点符号造成句子歧义,并由此生成了许多幽默、趣话,甚至误解.这方面的实例在英汉语言中不乏见.本文就此给以论述,并旨在说明标点符号小,但作用很大,使用时务必谨慎.

| Abstract: | English and Chinese are two different languages, but the meanings expressed by punctuations in both languages are same. Various interpretations resulted from people's conscious or unconscious misapplying of punctuations can often lead to humors, jokes or even misapprehensions. This paper elaborates the cases and, in the meanwhile, points out the significance in the proper use of punctuations. |
