关于"打工子弟"学校存在的合法性思考

打工子弟学校是城市流动人口自发创造的产物，其最初的办学目的和最终的社会效果都在于解决进城务工农民子女的义务教育问题。但是，这个中国社会转型期出现的特殊事物，虽然大量地、长时期地实际存在，却迟迟得不到社会和政府有关部门的认可，其原因复杂多样。《昆明市城区农民工子女教育状况的调查研究》课题组用了一年的时间，调查分析这一社会现象，从中发现许多令人深思和担忧的社会问题。

Legitimacy Thinking on the Existence of Schools for Children of Peasant Migrants

Schools for children of peasant migrants pursuing urban labor jobs are a spontaneous phenomenon of floating population created by themselves. The initial purpose to set up schools is to solve the issue of inaccessibility to compulsory education among these children; the actual result turns out to be positive. However, despite the extensive existence of such schools, and an especial outcome of the social transit in China, they are not able to gain formal recognition from either government or the mainstream society, the phenomenon of which has various and complicated causes. The research group of the Study on Education Status of Children of Peasant Migrants Working in Kunming Urban Area spent one year studying this phenomenon and has discovered social problems that are worrisome and requires attention.
