| Abstract: | Derogatery words used as commendatory sense is a kind of rhetorical means, which is widely applied in modern Chinese. It can strengthen the meaning the feeling and the atmosphere and make the speech much more implict and vivid. This artide, analysing some practical examples of derogatory words used as commendatory sense, tries to discuss the particu- lar rhetorical function and art effect of the words after changing their, emotional colour, and also display their endless charm. |
