民国时期山西省初等教育实施效果与对外影响

民国时期山西初等教育以实施最早、规划完善、措施得力、效果显著而闻名于全国教育界,国民学校数、入学儿童数、学龄儿童入学率均在全国名列前茅。学龄儿童入学率最高时达72.2%,是中国近现代教育史上前所未有的奇迹。这一令人瞩目的办学成绩,引起了国内外教育界、新闻界的高度关注。教育部还以山西厉行初等教育程序为蓝本制定了全国初等教育实施计划。

Effects and Influence on the Other Provinces by Implementing the Elementary Education in Shanxi during the Years of the Republic of China

In the years of the Republic of China, Shanxi province was well known in the Chinese educational circle because it was the earliest province to implement the elementary education with perfect planning, effective measures and remarkable success. The number of national schools and children enrollment as well as the enrollment rate ranked among the best of the whole country, with once the enrollment rate of school-age children reaching 72.2%, an unprecedented miracle in the modern and contemporary Chinese history of education. The achievements drew a lot of attention from the educational and journalist circles both at home and abroad. The Ministry of Education formulated the plan of implementing compulsory education in the whole country based on the compulsory education procedures in Shanxi and ordered the other provinces to learn from Shanxi.
