| 摘 要： | 以当代英语词汇隐喻语料库为基础,采用自下而上的研究方法对Lakoff的基本隐喻理论进行了检验和探讨。阐明了词汇隐喻的重要性及其语料库的研究价值,并用词汇实例证明了Lakoff隐喻理论的科学性,最后指出隐喻理论研究也可以帮助语料库的建设,二者关系相辅相成。

| Abstract: | This article offers a review of Lakoff 's major metaphor theory from the perspective of the modern English metaphorical corpus.By the bottom-up method,the author reexamines Lakoff 's theory with the lexis examples and proves its academic values and points out the importance of using corpus in the modern metaphor research. |
