Abstract:The author supposes that in the course of second language acquisition, there exists a big gap between Vocabulary and Text. The author suggests a quantified input of reading and listening, imitation, etc to acquire a certain language sense as supporting materials in linguistic communication. Thus confidence is obtained and the gap between vocabulary and text can be easily jumped over. By a comprehensive understanding from behaviorism / mentalism a new model: Language Sense Training Model in L2 acquisition has been put forth here. In the paper the author has made a definition of language sense on a trial base. Such new concepts as Working English, Linguistic Tolerance, Linguistic IQ, Linguistic Limit etc, have also been put forth here.
