| 摘 要： | 目前水族地区所见到的最早的水书典籍是<泐金·纪日卷>.该书计有水字1472字,除去其中的重复使用字,实际只有61个不同的水字.这61个水字可分为水族独创文字和水族假借汉字为水字两大类.其第二类即水族假借汉字与汉语汉字在读音与意义上存有密切的对应关系.再从史书记裁来看,水族作为独立单一的民族最早形成于唐代.故前修时贤关于水字起源"远在秦以前"的观点其证据并不充分,水书水字的创造起源不会早于唐代.
