| Abstract: | In both Western and Eastern Han Dynasties, I he Piety Scripture is socially rooted, Piety becomes the core of family ethic and the social norms. So it profoundly influences human behaviors in respecting, caring for the aged, and attending to the funeral and memorial rituals for the dead. The Western and Eastern Han Dynasties, thus, become the era of dutiful children and the era of prosperity owing to piety. |
