New Opinion on Parody:A Cognitive Approach

As a kind of figures of speech,parody is also a kind of cognitive activity.Parody,owing to its novel and creative usage,has caught a lot of attention of many linguists.However,most of them preferred to use lexical and grammatical method to make study of parody.Therefore,this paper approaches the subject from cognitive point of view,which draws a significant conclusion that such perspectives will allow us to do better understanding the essence of language and parody.
