中国高校图书馆自动化建设的现状与发展趋势

我国高校图书馆自动化建设应在普及、提高两个方面做工作 ,“普及”就是要全国高校图书馆信息管理自动化 ,实现图书馆采购、编目、流通、期刊等作业的自动化管理 ;“提高”主要是指经济比较发达的地区将发展高速计算机网络环境下的以资源共享为特征的图书馆网络系统 ,并通过电话网或CHINAPAC与全国各地的高等院校图书馆系统联成一片 ,逐步向电子化、数字化图书馆迈进

The building of library automation in our institutions of higher learning has two tasks:popularization and improvement."Popularization"is to realize the automation of information maragement in all libraries and the automatic management in all libraries and the automatic management to purchase,catalogue,circulate and periodical operation,"Improvement"mainly refers the economic developing areas will form resources-shaved library network system based on developing high-speed computer network.And though telephone or CHINAPAC,it can join libraries of all institutios ofhigher learning to gether and forge ahead toward the electronic and digital library.
