冯友兰与西南联大

Feng Youlan and the Southwest United University

Feng Youlan was not only famous for a philosopher and a philosophical historian, but also an educator. As the president of the literature college, Feng Youlan insisted his own ideas of running a school. He imparted knowledge and educated people, fostered the humanities spirits of the Southwest United University and serviced the cause of Anti-Japanese War through his substantially academic fruits. It was he that made important contributions to the Southwest United University. Feng Youlan's educational thoughts and practice have provided the other important topic of Feng Studies.
