浅谈柳宗元对中国佛教之接受

柳宗元是唐代著名的文学家、思想家和政治改革家。他与同时代的韩愈的反佛主张不同,对佛教采取了接受的态度。虽然他自幼就接触了佛教,但他对佛教的接受并不是一蹴而就的,这期间经历了复杂的过程,他被贬永州,心情的抑郁与佛教徒的频繁接触以及时代风气的影响和自身的性格,都促成了他对佛教的接受。柳宗元对佛教的接受并不是无所取舍的,对待佛教他倾向于天台宗,而对当时流行的禅宗并不是很欣赏。这一点值得注意。

Shallowly Discussing Liu Zongyuan's Acceptance to the Chinese Buddhism

Liu Zongyuan is a famous man of letters,thinker and politic reformer in Tang Dynasty.He has adopted recipient attitude on Buddhism with opposition of coeval Han Yu.He does really not reach the goal in one step to the Buddhism acceptance although he has contacted Buddhism since childhood,because during this period he has experienced a complicated process.He is demoted to Yongzhou city,worried state of mind and frequent contact with Buddhists as well as social ethos at that time and self's character,have all helped to bring about his acceptance to Buddhism.Liu Zongyuan is really not to make a choice to the Buddhism acceptance,he inclines to Tian Tai Zong,but the popular Zen is not really appreciated very much at that time.This is worth paying attention to.
