大学英语精读课是大学生学习英语知识和培养能力的最重要的途径。传统的教学法强调语言知识的输入 ,而交际法则侧重于语言能力的输出 ,其结果并不都完全令人满意。作者认为 ,在语言学习中 ,语言的输入与输出是同等重要的 ,两者应该是同步进行。

On Input and Output of Teaching Intensive Reading of college English

Intensive Reading as a mainstay course in the teaching of College English provides the most important way for college students to learn the knowledge of English and improve theif English proficiency.The traditional teaching methods stress the input of knowledge whereas the communicative approaches lay emphasis on the output of the language competence.Neither the former nor the latter comes up with satisfactory results.The writer of this article,the author argues that both input and output are equally important in language learning and they should be conducted simultaneously.
