概念隐喻在大学英语语篇教学中的应用

摘    要:概念隐喻具有概念性、系统性、文化普遍性和特殊性。系统性和概念性使概念隐喻成为确保语篇连贯的基础;而概念隐喻所支配的一系列语言表达式又构成词汇衔接。将概念隐喻理论引入大学英语的语篇教学,不仅能培养学生对概念隐喻的认识,还能帮助学生克服对篇章结构的机械掌握。

Abstract:The conceptual metaphor is of conceptuality,systematicity,cultural universality and particularity.Conceptual metaphors serving as unifying organizers establish the coherence of the text,and the linguistic expression motivated serves as the linguistic cohesive devices.The application of the Conceptual Metaphor Theory(CMT) to college English discourse teaching will not only sensitize students to conceptual metaphor as coherence device,but also facilitate students′ understanding of discourse meaning beyond the mere grasp of the text structure.
