| Abstract: | the clauses in a running sentence are considered to be linked together not only by parataxis but also by parallel structure, symmetrical wording, consecutive a word between clauses, narration from general to specific,back-reference, repetition of rheme, rhyme and so on. The topic structure of a running sentence usually appears as topic string or topic chain. |
