Advantages and Disadvantages of Multimedia-Involved Teaching

As the newly developed technology in late 20th,computer-based multimedia has become one of the compulsory parts of our daily life,learning and working.How to achieve effective use of multimedia to assist teaching is a popular researching theme among educationists.Multimedia has its distinctive advantages when is properly used in the teaching procedure,while also exposed some disadvantages of which cannot be neglected.This essay tries to provide teachers some references of guidance on successful multimedia-involved teaching, in the purpose of meeting the need of education reformation and development in the knowledge economy central information society.
