| Abstract: | The hermit culture of the Tang Dynasty demonstrates a new character that is its utility tendency seen in many aspects.This article begins with the vicissitude of Mt.Lushan's historical status.It is one of the famous mountains for hermits,closely linked with the hermit culture.This article studies the reason why they chose Mt Lushan to live their hermit life and their works written there in an attempt to reveal the hermits in the Tang Dynasty their utility tendency though they chose the life as hermits. |
