《铸剑》中"剑"意象与成长主题论析

The meaning expression of Luxun's novel Zhujian is implied and symbolic by aesthetic imagery,in which the sword is the main imagery.In the manner of constitution,Luxun puts it in the caption and emphasizes it continually.One of the meaning of the imagery of sword is to notice the psychological growth of the young.The Mei jian-chi's growth of characteristic can be examined in two aspects.Firstly,the story of Mei's ridiculing the rat implies his ingrown-up characteristic in psychology and in action.Secondly,the combination of Mei and Yan zhi-ao implies that Mei became Yan who is a revenge angel in China's antique clothes,in order to revenge his father.There are three reasons that Luxun expresses the mianing of growth: he is affected by the evolution theory,so he notices the growth of the young;he explores the way of building a man,so he notices the innovation of national character;he expresses his experience and thought in his own growth,so as to release his feeling in childhood.
