| Abstract: | Yunnan Dialect is formed and developed on the basis of Jianghuai Mandarin.It is abundant in vocabulary and is distinctive in pronunciation and grammar.This paper makes an analysis and explanation of some typical archaic words in Yunnan dialect from the aspects of characters,word usage and the evolution of word sense. |
