| 摘 要： | 数字在不同的民族和文化中有着各自独特的文化内涵,比如英汉习语中数字＂三＂文化含义的异同,就反映出东西方民俗文化内涵的差别,了解中西方的数字文化内涵,有助于我们更好地理解和运用英汉数字习语,促进跨文化交际的顺利进行。

| Abstract: | Different nations have their distinctive cultural meanings in numbers.A comparative analysis on the cultural meanings of the figure "3" in Chinese and English idioms reveals their similarities and differences in conventional cultural meanings between oriental and western cultures.A study on the number in the idioms will help better understand their cultural meanings so as to apply these idioms containing the figure "3" properly. |
