| Abstract: | FU Shan and Wei Xangshu made friends with each other not later than 1642. Then in 1658 they met again. In 1678, FU Shan refused to accept the title of "Times" Great Man of Learning"qiven by the new impire, Qing Dynasty, which was offensive to the authorities. WEI Xanghshu helped him escape the persecusion. In 1684, with FU Shatn's entrustment while FU was away ,WEI Xangshu made arrangements for FU's funeral. |
