| Abstract: | The theme of Gone with the Wind contains at least such multilevel and multiangled connotations as ideals of concurrent beauty, phenomena of isolatoes, feelings for the past, and estrangement between people.It also holds that only when realism is combined with expressionism can the tragic taste of the novel which contains elegance as well as popularity be interpreted. |
