Abstract:In view of the complexity, abstractness and dullness of the structure vibration theory course, an electric servo teaching experiment platform for simulating structural vibration is developed by using technologies such as the mechanical design, vibration mechanics, computer, etc. The platform is mainly composed of the vibration platform frame, servo control unit, action execution unit, vibration platform, excitation system, high-definition image rapid acquisition system, data acquisition and processing and modal analysis system. It can demonstrate the vibration modes of different types of structures and test the dynamic characteristics, seismic response and modal analysis of structures. The platform can directly capture the whole process of structural vibration, which is helpful to enhance students’ sensory understanding of vibration morphology and deepen their understanding of structural vibration theory.
