珍贵的地方史料和科学的地情实录使地方史志的研究有着独特的魅力与价值。然而，许多旧志却并非尽善尽美，一些腐儒俗吏在编修地方史的过程中，从狭隘的地方主义出发，牵强附会地将一些名人轶事书写为本地。这种做法，不仅给后人造成了误导，而且在当今旅游资源开发热潮的促动下，以讹传讹，给地方史的研究也带来了不良的影响。本文对山西地方史志若干说法的辩证，其目的正是为了维护地方史研究的纯洁性与科学性。

Correcting Some Misconceptions of Shanxi Local Chronicles

Though,valuable materials of local history and scientif ic records of local true state of affairs and events have their unique charm and value,but some of the old local chronicles are not very reliable. Because a few local government officials and pedantic scholars based on some materials that a pparently right,but actually wrong to edit the local chronicle. Consequently, fa mous persons and their stories had happened in the places that they had jurisdic tion over in the revised edition can be seen. What they did not only misguided t he later generation,but also brought harmful influences to the research of the l ocal chronicles,especially under the situation of exploiting the tourist resour ces at present. The author of the thesis is to protect for the clearness,the hon esty and the scientific truthfulness of the local chronicle research.
