| 摘 要： | 文化根深对维护语言稳定性具有强大的作用。象州白石文化底蕴深厚，白石官话保存良好。精组与知庄章组有区别，晓组与非组不混，云母与匣母不混，阳声韵尾完整且前后鼻音分明，有on]韵（桓）。有入声调类。同音字汇收字4千有余。

| Abstract: | Baishi（白石）dialect, a branch of Chinese mandarin, maintains its original appearance profiting from its cultural roots. Ancient intial groups of ＂Jing （精）＂and ＂Zhi-Zhuang-Zhang＂ （知庄章 ） feature different pronunciation. Groups of ＂Xiao＂ and ＂Fei＂ keep separation,as well as the Groups ＂Yun＂ and ＂Xia＂. Ancient nasal finals ＂n＂and ＂η＂ distinguish with each other. Moreover, the dialect retains ＂on＂ rhyme and entering tone. |
