| 摘 要： | 地方高校的性质决定了其图书馆为当地公众开展信息服务是其职责所在。但由于存在着观念、体制、经费、人员等诸方面的障碍,束缚了地方高校图书馆为社会公众服务的手脚。文章探讨了地方高校图书馆为社会服务的可行之路,指出了今后努力的方向。
