The Cognitive Environment in the Study of Irony

The study of irony has long been considered as a study of a figure of speech. A lot of research was conducted on the relationship between the cognitive mechanism and the interpretation of figurative language. But the present study focuses on the role of cognitive environment in the study of irony, especially in the interpretation process of irony.
