The application of schema theory into English listening

It is well known that listening in English has become more and more important in current language teaching because of CET 4 and CET6.However,most students have the same idea that listening is one of the most difficult questions,which made them lost many scores in their final examinations.Therefore,English teachers realize that it is significant to increase students’ confidence and find out an effective way to improve their listening.That is to apply schema theory to listening teaching in order to increase the efficiency of the listening classes.
