关于"整体语言教学法"的学习与实践

摘    要:高等英语教育应把重点放在培养具有自主学习能力、发散性思维能力和创新能力的高素质人才上,树立以学生为主体,以教师为主导的科学教育观念。"整体语言教学法"为我们提供了实现这一目标的可行性策略。本文通过介绍"整体语言教学法"的基本特征和应用原则,结合我国高校外语教学的特点,探讨了"整体语言教学法"在大学英语教学中的应用,旨在更加有效地提高英语教学质量及发展学生的语言能力和交际能力。

Abstract:In higher education of English,priority should be given to training highly qualified talented personnel with competence of automatic study,sporadic thinking and creativity.We should adhere to scientific education concept of putting students first and taking teachers as the leading force.The "Whole Language Approach" has provided us with a feasible strategy to realize this goal.In this paper,the writer introduces the basic characteristics and application principles of the "Whole Language Approach",probes into the application of the "Whole Language Approach" in teaching college English with the purpose of more effectively improving English teaching quality and developing language ability and communication ability of students.
