毛泽东对中国文化现代化的探索

20世纪前期和中期,对中国文化现代化进行积极探索的集大成者,应当首推毛泽东。他在大力推进中国政治现代化和经济现代化的同时,系统总结了中国近代以来文化发展正反两方面的历史经验,不仅科学地回答了“中国文化向何处去”的历史课题,而且还有力地推动了中国文化现代化的伟大实践,提供了诸多富有原创性和启示性的思想,开启了中国文化现代化的先河。同时,从总结历史经验特别是文化现代化建设经验的角度审视,毛泽东的这一探索中也存在一些今天看来是一种缺陷或局限的地方。

The Exploration of the Modernization of Chinese Culture by Mao Zedong

Furthermore some defects are also discussed in the perspective of experience for the construction of cultural modernization in China.
