| Abstract: | Since the mid-1980s, Chen Zhong-shi s writing has entered the transition period linking and recurring through his early writing with the creation of Bai Lu Yuan . The transition period of his novel creation is characterized by the expansion of his cultural vision, his concern for human beings' living condition and his gradual maturity in linguistic style. |
