| 摘 要： | 阿庇安是罗马帝国早期杰出的历史学家，他结合历史形成了自己的命运观。他的命运观具有双重性：一方面强调命运对人具有决定性作用；另一方面认为人可以在命运面前发挥能动性。另外，他的命运观里面包含了一种弃恶扬善的思想，还论及了有关国家、民族的命运等问题。

| Abstract: | Appian is a great historian of the Rome Empire. His viewpoint on fate , forming after his careful study on Roman history, has its duality. On the one hand, it emphasizes that a person's fate plays a key role in his life. On the other hand, it holds that a person can bring his subjective initiative into full play to change his fate. Appian dissuaded people from doing wrong and encouraged them to do good. He also dealt with the fate of a country or a nation. |
