| Abstract: | Leaner autonomy is the ultimate aim of foreign language learning. After an initial analysis of the concept of learner autonomy and prerequisite for autonomous learning, this paper looks into the relationship between the role of teacher and learner autonomy. It highlights that the support and help of teacher plays an essential role in promoting learner autonomous foreign language earning. |
