| 摘 要： | 随着大学英语改革的进一步深化，当代的大学英语教学不再是单纯的英语教学，而是各类语言知识和非语言知识共同作用的教学。其中，背景知识在英语教学中起了不可替代的解码作用。本文拟就此做进一步的探讨，以期推进大学英语教学的进一步发展。
