| 摘 要： | 叙述了图书馆在知识经济时代承担着知识教育、知识服务和知识创新的作用；并对图书馆发展方向进行了探讨，认为图书馆应建立适合时代发展的管理机制，提高馆员素质，加快馆藏特色化、数字化的建设，向建设数字图书馆，形成图书馆网络的方向发展。
