黄遵宪青年时期的思想

黄遵宪青年时期经历了太平天国战争和四次科举落第,这些事件加深了他对晚清腐败政治的体验,也触发了他对封建文化弊病的批判,这主要表现在:他批判言、文分离的语言文字制度,批判腐朽的科举制度,并提出了言文统一的诗歌创作主张。对旧文化的强烈批判成为青年黄遵宪思想的主要特色,这对50年后五四新文化有一定的影响。

Thoughts of Huang Zunxian in His Youthhood

Going through the Taiping Revolution and failing in the Imperial Examinations for four times deepened Huang Zunxian's perception of political corruption in late Qing Dynasty and triggered his cricicism of cultural problems in the feudal society.He criticised the literary system of separation of speech and writing,and the corrupting imperial civil examination system.He advocated the unification of speech and writing.Thus,a severe censure of the old culture characterized the young man's thoughts,which greatly influenced the May the Fourth New Culture some 50 years later.
