清王朝对傣族地区的文教政策评析

为了巩固和加强对西南边疆傣族等地区的统治,清朝统治者十分重视当地的文化教育,采取了“文教为先”的政策,如将入学习礼作为土司承袭的必要条件,积极设立和倡建义学,向新式教育转变等,使傣族地区的文化教育在清代得到了较快的发展,社会面貌也因此发生了不同程度的变化。

Comment and Analysis of the Cultura; and Educational Policies of Qing Dynasty in Dai Nationality Regions

To consolidate and strengthen the rule over the regins of Dai Nationality in the southwest boader of China,the rulers of Qing Dynasty have paid much attaintion to culture and education there and adopted the policy of "culture and education coming the first." For example,they take the learning of Rites as the prerequisite to inherit the right of Tusi and actively set up free school so as to turn into new type of education,which accelerated the development of the culture and education in Dai Region in Qing Dynasty and to some extent changed the society.
