Working Towards Equal Opportunities — a learning experience

This article describes the development of an equal opportunity policy and its implementation in a residential college for women. After an initial period of controversy involving increased tension and conflict, co‐operative structures evolved which enabled an equal opportunities policy to be put into practice.
