Test Construction for NMET:Current Situation and Expected Achievements

The reform of NMET is a heated topic continually studied in the foreign language circle. The authors believe that the reform based on the ideas of new English curriculum should follow six principles,such as the times in language materials choosing,the stability of test format,the orientation towards language ability testing,the integration of the three-dimension objectives,the consistency of content and form,and the ecology of testing system.
