| Abstract: | One can find sincere feelings of sorrow and anger in essays written by Lin Yutang. This paper attempts to dig out what is hidden behind the apparently delightful texts by Lin Yutang and seek to find out the deeply hidden reasons for his sorrow, indignation and contradictory moods from the perspective of time, individual and the combination of time and individual. |
