英语与汉语使动句的比较

提出了英语中也存在着与古汉语的使动用法类似的词的使动用法,并分析了这些使动词的词根,得出了英语中的使动词的词根多数是由动词、形容词及名词构成,而这与古汉语具有很大的可比性和相似性的重要结论。还对英语中的这些使动词在英语词汇中所占的比例进行了统计分析,使结论更加可靠。另外也比较了英汉使动用法的差异。

Comparision of the Causitive Verbs Between Chinese and English

It is discovered that there exist in English some causitive verbs which similar to those in Chinese,and their roots are analysed.Then the authors point out that the roots are most adjectives,nouns and verbs,which can be well compared with those in Chinese,since ancient Chinese also use adjectives,nouns and verbs to express the meaning of cause.The article also collected statistics on the proportion of those causitive verbs and their formative characteristics in English,and proved that those words largely exist in English.On the other hand,the difference of the usage of the causitive verbs has also been compared.
